LiveBetter is the new provider for supported accommodation and respite services covering the Western NSW district.

The transfer to LiveBetter commenced on 3 September 2017.

Our heart-felt thanks goes to all the staff who transferred for their hard work and the dedication they have shown as FACS employees, which we know they will continue to demonstrate after transfer. LiveBetter is inheriting an outstanding workforce and we wish them all the very best in their future with Live Better.

We know that they are taking with them a strong client focus and a reputation for great outcomes. The strength and value of the bonds they have created with the people they support cannot be underestimated and with the support of LiveBetter, we are sure they will continue to develop these relationships.

Transferring services to the non-government sector supports the delivery of the NDIS and will enable greater choice for participants. Transferring staff is vital to ensure we retain this skilled workforce and do not disrupt the continuity of service to our clients. That’s why our highest priority through these, and future transfers, has been the ongoing support of staff and clients.
