The Benevolent Society

From 28 July 2017 FACS disability clinical services and allied health staff transferred to The Benevolent Society.

The staff who have transferred includes CIG staff, case managers, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists, behaviour support staff, dietitians, psychologists, nurses and therapy assistants together with relevant management and support staff.

The work of all these people has been characterised by dedication and hard work and the impact they have on their clients – and their families – is monumental.

With the support of The Benevolent Society they will continue to foster these valued relationships.

We wish them all the best for the future. They’ve taken with them to The Benevolent Society a powerful client focus and a reputation for great outcomes.

This transfer, and the others that will occur in the coming months, are vital to the successful transition to the NDIS. Transferring services to the non-government sector supports the delivery of the NDIS and will enable greater choice for participants. It allows us to transfer every dollar of our disability budget directly into the NDIS, where it will be used to provide supports to the people who need them.
