Update on the Transfer of Disability Services

There was strong interest to the NSW Government’s Expression of Interest (EOI) from providers wanting to deliver FACS disability services into the future. All responses were evaluated against a set of rigorous criteria that assessed potential provider's operational and financial capabilities.

The providers who were successful in progressing to the next stage have been invited to submit a formal and binding proposal. Read more on the transfer of Specialist Disability Services.

There is a chance a service provider may seek information from you about their submission.  It is important that you maintain a professional distance from the process and ask them to email their questions to SpecialistDisabilityServices@facs.nsw.gov.au.

In addition, people who receive our accommodation services will be involved in selecting a suitable provider to deliver services in their home.  More information on how and when this will be arranged will be known in the coming weeks.

As soon as this formal selection process is complete, we’ll be able to tell you more about when and how each service will be transferred and how this affects you.

If you have any questions or comments, please continue to email either workingtogether@facs.nsw.gov.au or AboriginalWT@facs.nsw.gov.au.
