Three more providers announced for supported accommodation and respite services

The NSW Government has announced three more providers for supported accommodation and respite services across the state.

The providers are:

  • LiveBetter Community Services (formerly CareWest) – Western NSW

The providers announced include consortia (that is, groups of organisations that have agreed to work together), Hunter Valley Disability Services Limited and Mid North Coast Disability Services Limited, that were formed by organisations coming together to deliver the NDIS.

The transfers are expected to commence from 1 September 2017 for LiveBetter and Mid North Coast Disability Services, and 1 December 2017 for Hunter Valley Disability Services.

This follows on from the announcement of two new providers, Northcott and House with No Steps, on 30 March 2017.

The remaining providers which cover the rest of the state will be announced later.

The Deputy Secretary ADHC and the Deputy Secretary Disability Operations have sent an email to all FACS staff advising them of the announcement.
